Introduction: The paper will give an overview of the current environment of domestic violence and its impact to the children and will promote some special awareness to the children in the domestic violence and helping them to understand the risk factors of this violence and their responses when this violence occurs. This paper will also give an extent of an educational group who will provide necessary knowledge to the children who experience domestic violence, but did not clear the nature of this violence and identify their possible steps for their own safety. Its focus is on control, and does not always involve physical harm. †¢ Violent resistance occurs when a partner uses violence as a defense in response to abuse by a partner. It is an immediate reaction to an assault and is primarily intended to protect oneself or others from injury. †¢ Situational couple violence is partner violence that does not have its basis in the dynamic of power and control. Generally, situational couple violence results from situations or disputes between partners that escalates into physical violence. †¢ Separation instigated violence is violence instigated by the separation where there was no history of violence in the relationship or in other contexts.(Kelly Johnson, 2008) Prevalence The most recent national figures from the AIHW indicate that in Australia, during 2011-12, there were 252,962 notifications of suspected child abuse and neglect made to state and territory authorities (a rate of 34.0 notifications per 1,000 Australian children), which is an increase of 6.6% from the 237,273 reports made in 2010-2011. In Australia, around one in three women has experienced physical violence, and almost one in five has experienced sexual violence
